Guy Ahonen

Guy Ahonen, KTT, on tietämyksen hallinnan, erityisesti henkilöstötalouden professori Hankenilla. Hän on yli 30 vuoden ajan tutkinut työolojen ja työterveyden taloudellisia vaikutuksia, josta hänet palkittiin valtakunnallisella työsuojelupalkinnolla 2006. Parhaiten hänet ehkä tunnetaan henkilöstötilinpäätösten puolestapuhujana. Hänen Henkilöstötilinpäätös-kirjansa oli Pro Oeconomica-finalisti vuonna 1998.

Viime vuosina hänen tutkimusryhmänsä,IC Group, on keskittynyt aineettomaan pääomaan ja työhyvinvoinnin väliseen suhteeseen. Vuonna 2007 hän julkaisi aiheesta yhdessä Ulf Johansonin ja Robin Roslenderin kanssa kokoomateoksen Work Health and Management Control.

Guy Ahonen, PhD.,Professor in Knowledge Management and Human Resource Accounting, Swedish School of Economics and Businessa Administration (Hanken) in Helsinki, Finland. He completed his doctorate at Hanken in 1983 with the disseration /Labour Protection and Economics/. For three dacades he has done research in the economic aspects of occupational well-being and safety. Therefore, in 2005 he received the national Work Environment Award in Finland. From the beginning of the 1990s he has worked extensively with human resource reporting issues.

His book /The Human Resource Report - The Company's Window into a Prosperous Future/ (in Finnish) was in 1998 one of the six finalists for the biannual Pro Oeconomica-award. His professional appointments include Acting Professorship in Political Scinece, Director of the Nordic Institute for Advanced Training in Occupationel Health (NIVA), Director of the Research Institute of Hanken and the current chair i KM/HRA. He is and has been editor and member of several editorial boards in the field. His publications include a dozen of books and more than a hundred other scientific publications. He recently co-edited a book on Work Health and Management Control.
