Mauno Tirkkonen, M.Sc.
Background Mauno Tirkkonen has over 20 years of varied and international experience in communications and in different roles in HR management. He has worked for Siemens Nixdorf, for Siemens and for Exel in expert and management position, both in Finland and abroad. Business orientation, process thinking and using information systems have all had a key role in Mauno’s assignments. Mauno has experience of projects involving managing change as well as of training and coaching board members, managers and personnel. Expertise Developing HR and management practices in an international business environment and improving individual and team competence are Mauno’s areas of competence. His special interests are: using information systems in management and personnel development; personal leadership coaching; developing HR practices and processes; and creating internationally appliable HR practices. Free time Mauno likes to spend his free time practising a wide variety of sports and working in sports clubs, also enjoying cultural pursuits.
