Intelligent Leadership
The innovation of leadership – Intelligent Leadership is based on Pentti Sydänmaanlakka’s (PhD) Doctoral Thesis in which he analyses sixty-nine theories on leadership, as well as looking into the necessary competences of a leader and best practices in successful global corporations, such as Nokia, Kone, Ahlström and Fortum. The result is a synthesis in which the leader puts various leadership models into practice, making wide use of her practical, rational, spiritual and emotional intelligence as well as some leadership practices that have been proven to work. Leadership is seen as an interactive process that is influenced by the organisation’s values and culture as well as the environment in which the leadership process takes place.
