Neste Jacobs - collaboration with Pertec Consulting
Our leadership philosophy at Neste Jacobs is to set vision, target and motive – then to inspire and coach. Over the last 18 months Pertec Consulting has been helping us develop this leadership culture at Neste Jacobs.
Pertec’s program began in 2010 with coaching for the Management Board. The objective of the coaching was to develop a common understanding of 1) our vision and strategy, 2) our way to work and 3) what is good leadership at Neste Jacobs. The coaching program has ensured the efficiency of the management team and its members, uncovered our strengths and development targets and promoted trust and open dialogue between team members.
Throughout 2011, we have rolled out the ideas from the Management Board coaching to the next level at Neste Jacobs in a leadership development program implemented by Laura Vargas and David Goddard from Pertec Consulting. Some 80 managers and experts have had training in the core competencies of Neste Jacobs leaders: Communicative, Trustworthy and Open, Involving and Interactive, Customer-oriented, Excellence- oriented, Decisive, Continuously Renews and Team Player.
This autumn, Pertec Consulting has been further helping us with our strategic target of leadership and competence development with the design and implementation of a Project Management Training and Certification program, Strategy Consulting and 360 leadership feedback for the Management Board.
The collaboration continues with active planning with Pertec Consulting of Neste Jacobs leadership development programs for 2012.
